SALT AIR
Salt Air Is Hard on Equipment
If your pool is in Melbourne Beach, Indialantic, Indian Harbour Beach, or Satellite Beach, your equipment lives in salt air year round. Corrosion on motor housings, electrical connections, and heater components happens noticeably faster on the barrier island than it does inland.
We factor that in. On island properties we inspect equipment more closely for corrosion during routine service, because catching a corroding connection early is a far smaller problem than a failed pump in August.
